What's included:
- Pre-soaked in brandy Luxury Mixed Fruit - Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Apricots, Glacé Cherries and Mixed Peel, brandy 40% alc.
- Soft Dark Brown Sugar
- Self-Raising Flour
- Ground Almonds
- Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Mixed Spice.
Allergens: Gluten (wheat), Nuts (almonds), Sulphur Dioxide - if you require a full list of ingredients please ask
Instructions:
- pre-heat oven to Gas 2/150c/130c fan assisted, grease and double line your cake tin
- add eggs, softened butter and black treacle to dried ingredients & mix thoroughly
- pour batter into cake tin, cover outer edge with another double layer and cover top
- Bake in the middle of oven until cooked through
- You may feed the cake once cooled before wrapping and placing in a tin
- It’s recommended that you feed the cake with 1-2 Tbsp of liquid of choice weekly until

For 6” round tin you will need:
2 Eggs
100g Softened Butter
1Tbsp Black Treacle
Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours
For 7” round tin you will need:
2 Eggs
115g Softened Butter
1Tbsp Black Treacle
Bake for 3 3/4 to 4 1/4 hours
For 8” round tin you will need:
3 Eggs
135g Softened Butter
2Tbsp Black Treacle
Bake for 4 to 4 1/2 hours
For 9” round tin you will need:
3 Eggs
150g Softened Butter
2Tbsp Black Treacle
Bake for 4 1/2 to 5 hours
NB If you’d prefer the alcohol free version, please add a note to your order or email us. Also, if have any other requests such as no peel or glacé cherries, please message us and we can arrange this, we want it to be just perfect for you!

DELIVERIES:
Where do you deliver to?
- Deliveries are within a 14 mile radius from No Frills HQ in Ibstock, however if we don’t cover your address, please feel free to send us a message to discuss.
When do you deliver?
- Home deliveries are usually made on Fridays and/or by appointment
When do I need to place my order by?
- All orders placed by 6pm on Tuesdays of the week you wish to receive your order unless otherwise requested and agreed.
What if I’m not home for my delivery?
- You will be able to specify a safe location if you prefer but this will be at your risk and you will need to ensure not only that this is a safe location, but also that your goods will be kept dry and protected.

Where can I collect my order from?
- Collection of our local pickup orders are available from No Frills Refills store (NFR) in Ibstock, the Coal Bunker, Belvoir Road Coalville. or Coalville C.A.N. Memorial Square, Coalville during normal opening hours Wednesday to Saturday - it is appreciated if you can indicate when you would prefer to collect from these locations.
- Sileby - 9-10 every other Friday
- Syston 10.30-11.30 every other Friday
- Birstall 12.30-1.30 4th Friday of the month
